The World Beer Games: Canadian Championships is a variety "mockumentary" production. The production follows 60 "beer athletes" as they compete for the Championship. These teams come from all over Canada. The production follows the athletes from the opening ceremonies through competition to the closing ceremonies. The games include the Empty Can Toss, Quarter Bouncing, Trivia contest, Pint Curling, Pint Chug and the Boat Race. Under the supervision of five referees (four referees and one head referee) and in accordance with a strict set of "Beer Games" rules, 12 teams of 5 people will compete for the coveted World Beer Games: Canadian Championship Trophy.

The show is directed by noted variety director Michael Watt and produced by Aidan Tracey, Garry Blye, Joe Woodward, Briane Nasimok and Sherman Snukal.
